Same thing here when bleeding out the system, i was like "oh no need for a second person!", i cranked that wheel and fluid shot everywhere! I just had my p/s pump replaced with a remanufactured pump. I didn't replace the o-ring on the high-pressure side of mine the first time and it leaked everywhere, it moaned constantly too. Now that i've replaced the o-ring, it just moans on cold mornings for about 10-15 seconds and then quiets down.

Spike555 I did replace it back in June. Did the wires, plugs, rotors, brakes and trans fluid all at same time. Truck has run flawlessly for the two years I have owned it. This pump is the first part to break on me.

You should have contacted the supplier and gotten a replacement to replace this bad rebuild.

I know Mike....I just kept thinking well I must not have bled it right or maybe different fluid and it will clear up....And once it clears up I can drive all day and not a sound so I don't think about it much....Do you think its a matter of when it will fail??
