also, a word on Time-Serts. They work. I have installed them on several motors without issue. I even pulled a motor from a parts car that had a bad time sert, it seemed that someone did not install it properly. There were 8 total but the one was bad. I sent it out and had a professional install a "Big-Sert" which is an oversized time sert and my sister is still running the motor after 10K miles.
How could you tell it was a "bad time sert"?
In any case, I appreciate all the feedback. We will obviously be using new bolts.

TIP: Against all the pundits and what they say, always, but always use a smear of anti-seize, copper grease or oil on the threads of head bolts or studs to reduce high load friction. Only smear a small amount onto the threads but certainly not a huge dollop as that may cause an airlock when tightening.
