Now what???
As Ironic as those trucks are, they're always full of unexpected suprises. Did the ATF thing yesterday, and was veryvery happy with the results. what I thought was an exhaust leak, ended up being something else, cause the ATF engine cleanup and then 10w40 have completely silenced the engine. So for once, I felt real joy in this truck.
SOOOOOOOO, I get in the truck this morning, and the first curb I took, sent water from the sun visor area, right onto my left knee[:@][:@]Now what??????? I suspect the sunroof drain tubes to be cloggedcause I can't really see nothing else.
So my new question is....How easy or hard is it to clean thesunroof drains???Any special tools needed??? how do I proceed???
Or do I just let it sit??? Cause I'm afraid that if I fix this problem, the new one that will immidiately come up might be heck of a lot worst.[&:]You know, I so really want to love this truck, but the Irony behing the fact that the following day of fixing a problem, a new one comes up, is feding me up big time and it hasn't missed.
By the way, I got the rave CD, and have an idea of how the sunroof is made. What I need to know is if I need to take it all aprt to clean the drains, or is it an easy fix.

The sunroof drain tubes coming loose, and the sunroof drain channel then dumping water into the headliner and A-pillar is not uncommon on these vehicles. You can take the grab handles (above door opening) off andloosen the headliner panel "just enough" to get a flashlight in there and locate the connection point of the drain tubes on each side.

Mike, I laughed my *** off when I read that! Sorry Darover, having the same issue on my '04 if you didn't see my thread already. Think geoman is probably right, so I'm going to tear off the handles this weekend and see what I can find above the headliner. Good luck, let you know what I find if you haven't tried already.
