O-rings, flat plastic washer in the end of transmission fluid cooler line
Hello all. I have fluid leaking from the lower transmission fluid cooler line, drivers side at cooler. I pulled the air box and finagled the line off with a homemade shim to push the connector back. Inside I found, in order (see picture):
the snap ring that requires push back in order to remove the line
a hard plastic “spacer”/washer ~5mm thick
a flat plastic washer sandwiched by two rubber o-rings that are both slightly deformed but look like they’re 19mm OD 15mm ID and 2mm thick. One of the o-rings looks a bit squared but not sure if that’s just because it’s been sandwiched in there for so long or it’s just a square “washer” style o-ring.
Question is has anyone ever replace these o-rings to potentially stop leakage from this fitting? If so what size o-rings did you use and where did you source from? I’m trying to prevent from having to replace an entire line that I hear is a PITA because of a couple of worn o-rings....if that’s actually the culprit. Thanks in advance.

Reason: There is no such thing as a practice washer to my knowledge. I’ll blame it on auto correct.
So I went through a couple of O-ring orders from Amazon but settled on the 19mm OD X 14mm ID (2.5 mm thick obviously) for the two rings on either side of the plastic washer in the picture. Getting the “quick connect” fitting back on was a complete PITA because on of the metal tabs on the locking ring would get slightly bent. So I’d pull it off and bend it back into place. It was hard to line the transmission line up straight with the cooler port with the other lines in the way. Anyway no leaks so far. Probably easier than changing the entire line from what I’ve read.
