That sounds better than my twist and tape method for sure!

Just crimp connect them together. Use the heat shrink glue inside ones. Forget the plugs.

Which color coded wires do what function? I have scoured the electric diagrams, but I am not an engineer. This is what I have for the left front:

purple/brown-fuse 2
orange/white-ecm
orange-ecm
black/red-ecm

how do I tell which one is heater, ground, etc?

(All pins I refer to are on connector C0635 of the ECM)

*Purple/brown= Heater Supply fuse 2 >>>> goes to O2 white wire

*red/black= earth/ground ecm pin09 >>>> goes to O2 grey wire

*orange= input/signal ecm pin15 >>>> goes to O2 black wire

*orange/white= Heater Drive ecm pin19 >>>> goes to O2 White wire

This is where I got the information I posted above^^^^^

I used this color diagram and found which color wire went to which pin on the ECM connector 2 (0635).
O2 color wire guide.pdf

Then I looked at this page in the RAVE and found what pin does what function. (example. pin9 is for ground signal.)
