OBDII Scanner, which one to buy?
I want to get my own OBDII Scanner. What do you guys have and how happy are you with it?
I want the best cost/benefit ratio. Also, where should I get it? I've seem them at Wal Mart and Autozone, I just don't know if those are the best option out there.

Go to Atlantic Britiash and read up on the 3 that they offer, this will give you an idea of the differences. Most people aren't technical enough to benefit from anything more then the mid quality scanner.
By the way, none of these will read SRS, SL<, or ABS codes. Need to get up to the $700 price range for that.

I got this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EQU-3100 off of ebay a couple years ago for around $75 if I remember correctly. Reads the code, provides definition (ex. Code #, Bank 1 beyond threshold) and allows you to erase it. Works very well and is simple to use. Been thinking about getting rid of it eventually and upgrading to a more capable model such as this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...06CFT5P29KGH13
or something that would allow me to read individual sensor output. Innova has several different models for your needs.
Whatever you purchase make sure it works for Land Rover. http://www.equus.com/ Features like ABS etc. may not work for LR.

Same exact scanner and accessories.
Same price too.
I am pleased with it.
It will also read electronic transmissions.
