Default Odd noise...

Here's a new one for me, just noticed on a couple of cool mornings (50-60 degrees, if this is a factor). Start truck, put foot on brake, hear a clicking (or clunking) that seems to come directly from beneath shift lever (auto transmission). I can pump the pedal and the noise repeats. Has only happened a couple of times, and only when first starting truck. No issues with brakes, transmission, ride, etc.

Any ideas? I'll search threads, but not much time to research tonight.

That noise is the selonoid moving so that you can shift gears. you must have your foot on the brake to shift outof park. it is normal.
