Odd shifting and hesitation?

Very likely. I remember when you joined and you had stated you got this from your Dad! They should give you the records.


you can crawl under it and take out the plug and check fluid level. To check filter you have to take if pan.

I'll check the fluid when I get free time from school. Looks like Friday is off to the dealer time. I'll let everyone know what the situation turns out to be.

It could be as simple as low transmission fluid. You might want to investigate a little bit yourself before taking it to the stealer$ship.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but my truck has a very similar problem. Recent Trans fluid change and MAF change.

Did you get this resolved @ashtray ?

Default Solution: throttle bottle cleaning

In my experience, the reason your transmission is hesitating to shift is because it’s not getting enough air in the intake probably because the throttlebody swinging door is trapped in the closet position so if you clean out your throttle body with carburetor cleaner, you don’t even have to take it out with, and that should help smooth out your shifting. There’s videos on YouTube for cleaning an LR three throttlebody.
