Default odometer problems

Yesterday I put gas into my 2000 Disco II. I always reset the trip odometer when I put gas in just to check mileage. When I pushed the reset button the trip odo went to 0 but the odometer went from the 106,xxx that was on the car to 176,xxx miles. Has anyone ever experienced this and is there away to correct this jump? My car's value, already low, just went down more. Thanks for any advice. Ted

A trip to the dealer. The mileage is stored in the BCM so they should be able to reset it for you.

Don't go to the dealer. You switched it from miles to kilometers. Just hold the Odometer button in again for a few seconds. It will go back to miles.
