Are OEM gray thermostats NLA or just temporarily out of stock?

Haven't used one of those but I'd give it a go, at least they're easy to deal with if you have to return it.

Huh, I didn't realize it wasn't. Glad it's of use! I always feel bad about throwing out parts, but I can't keep them forever.

The boxed one that I can get to easily is white -- neither grey nor black.

People used to completely dog Motorad, but 99.9% of all thermostats today = are made by Motorad (I had done a lot of research back in the day before the inline thermostat became the standard).
When I first purchased my P38 I purchased the Motorad suggested by Best4x4. That was July 2021. No problem since.
