Why was the oil cooler removed from the 03/04 Discovery? How much value do they add if you add one on?

 

You really won't get any more money when selling if it has an oil cooler.
One can be added for around $150-$200.
How much it lowers oil temps I don't know, but it can't hurt, and I plan on adding one to my 04 at some point.
03-04 has a trans cooler.

 

Why was it removed from the 03/04 Discos?

 

To reduce oil leaks. And upgrade of engine.
