Default Oil Leak Guide

Ok I know the all rovers will all leak at some time and that the only way for me to find the source is to take a look after a good cleaning. I have found in my research that the Heads, valve covers, and exhaust gaskets are the more common sources of the leakage. Are there any other areas that I should be looking at first? I recently did the plugs and wires and didn't notice any oil under the intake. Last time I was under the truck I noticed the oil was coming down the back of the motor and falling on the cross member. Any suggestions or recommendations before I get started would be great.

Front crank seal, rear crank seal, oil sending unit, valve covers, power steering lines, trans cooler lines, oil cooler lines, front diff seal, rear diff seal, t-case seals, trans seals, see, thats why we need to club seals. So they dont leak on our garage floor.

Leaks from valve cover (especially passenger side) are usually caused by a clogged PCV valve. Once I replaced mine the oil leak went away.

Cheers,

Pete

V/C gaskets leak because the bolt loosen up, so retighten them and most of the oil will stop flowing.
