Ok, what am I doing wrong?!
I'm trying to install a locking front output housing in my 03 and I'm stuck. I've pulled the front output housing off the donor tcase and I cannot get the gear set out for the life of me. Obviously something is not right, so how do I get the gear set out of the old tcase? It comes forward about an inch and stops.

Well I figured it out...I had to remove the detent ball on the main case.
Are the gear sets the same for all d2 tcases? Do I need to replace the one that's in my 03 with the one from the 00?
