Over Heating!!!!!

yea i took the res tank out and raised it stone cold, no good shops locally, heads never done. That temp gauge is a POS, thats why i dont want to take her out on the road, I feel like the new t sat might have done the trick though im just being cautious, letting her cool down now. I inspected the best i could all around the heads and the rest of the block I dont see any damage or leaking, Would that throw off codes or have any noticeable signs, because theres no smoke from exhaust and motor sounds normal, oil is good , pulled a few spark plugs and all looks good in the cylinders. i appreciate the info

Getting an Ultragauge is pretty recommended.
Means you arnt relying on the PoS temp gauge in the dash.

overheating
So with the new Tsat everything seems fine, haven't been able to take her for a long test drive as i discovered the the coolant tank is leaking from bottom outlet. Ordered new tank and cap. Will have that replaced tomorrow.
The ultra gauge looks awesome, definitely getting one!!
I was on their website but couldn't find any info on whether it pulls Abs fault codes, just curious.
