Default Overactive TC and really tight steering

Questions.. Sometimes when I go over a rough spot in the road the TC light will come on and I can hear the ABS unit make noise. No Amigos, Fixed that problem a few weeks ago with new front hubs, pads, rotors and 1 caliper. Any ideas?

Also, the steering seems abnormally tight the past few days.. it is almost notchy. Bit hard to describe it. Go to make a turn, until the wheel is off center it is very tight, then normal, then tight again. Only thing I have done is take a garden hose to the front end after a mishap with a busted coolant hose clamp..

Dont know about the steering but as for the over-reactive TC check both your front ABS sensors for any signs of damage. You may have fastened the ABS sensor incorrectly.

I recently replaced my front hubs as well and ever since I to have noticed my TC reacting to almost every little bump in the road. Further inspection of the front ABS sensors revealed that I fastened the sensor incorrectly in such a way that allowed some of the slack of the sensor to rub against some of the moving components of the wheel and consequently some of the outer rubber of the sensor has been worn away leaving the important inner wiring fully exposed... its hard to explain exactly but when you fit the ABS sensor cable, there are 2 mounting clip locations where you are suppose to fasten the cable to in order to hold it in place. I did it incorrectly and you may have done the same thing on your truck.

Inspect the entire cable from where it connects to the wheel hub all the way up for any signs of wear.
