I purchased a second hand Discovery 1999 with a “Pioneer” 6 CD changer. During cold weather the car battery drained and upon installing a new battery, the car stereo requests a pin code that I don’t have.

Does anyone know how to reset or override the pin code?

After almost 15 calls to the Manhattan dealer, and more than 5 voicemails, of which none have been returned, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Any advice would be most helpful.

You will need to get a radio code thru the dealer from Rover, that is the only way to reactivate your radio.

They will want to see your vehicle registration and then they will call and get your code, there is no charge.
