Angry P0150 Trouble Code, SES and rough idle

Seemed like I got a plethora of trouble codes, pending or otherwise since I washed my engine, lesson learned, next time i'll just let the thing stay covered in Canadian soil.

It started with misfires and O2 sensor warnings all of which went away after a while, not until after I purchased Two new front O2's though...Figure I'll need them at some point but found out that the PO had replaced them only 3-4 months prior to selling the vehicle to me with the BOSCH replacements, he even handed over the old ones which he kept aside.

What I am left with is code P0150, a rough idle and the SES light. I had a small hole in the exhaust welded up thinking that might be the cause but I suspect the issue is somewhere between the MAF and front O2's?? I do have a pretty bad oil leak from up top and I see the red grommet on one of the pipe connectors (haven't broken open RAVE to determine what this is yet??) is broken too so going to make an educated guess the problem is coming from this zone. Its dripping down onto the passenger side CAT which does not smell good and smokes quite a bit too.

Took a quick video to show the leak starting with the damaged connector. Any ideas on what the red grommet part is on the plenum? Assuming that the leak is up top, is this a good excuse to replace the gasket and do plugs/wires?

Sorry for the noob questions, any help is appreciated.

the red grommet is the vacuum for your brake booster it is not leaking oil. you should remove the upper intake tighten all the valve cover bolts (8mm 12 point) and de-grease the engine.

Ok, I tightened these (the Four accessible outside bolts) with the 8mm 12 point but the rig still pissed oil until I was dry. Topped it up and limped home still dripping oil, decided to torque the bolts instead - snapped the front one...great. Looks like ill be changing the gaskets and drilling out that front bolt too...I read the inside bolts don't leak, is that really likely??

No, I was fully aware, was just on the road and needed a quick fix. I had read a few threads that snugging up the bolts sorted 90% of the leaks but in my case it did not happen.

This forum seems to be hit and miss these days...Anyway, it was my valley pan gasket...was warped and had a 1.5" crack in it that the oil was seeping out of...replaced that, valve cover gaskets, wires, plugs, brake booster servo, thermostat and front O2's...we'll see how she runs now..

I can't remember the cause, but there is a reason that a valley pan gasket would balloon and crack. Not sure if yours was ballooned and then cracked, but you might want to search that issue to see if you have a root cause.
