Default P0741 in Sport Mode

Went out for a drive tonight to see how well the Disco runs after doing all this work to it. Was driving around town and decided to put the transmission into Sport Mode. Took off from a stop light and the SES light came on. Got home and the only code it's showing is P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off.
Didn't have this problem in normal driving mode. No flashing M & S lights, no trans temp light. I didn't even get over 45mph so I'm curious as to how I could have a TCC issue

Couldn't find much info on this so I searched some other forums. Found a post by DiscoMike that mentioned if the battery is not 100% then it could cause issues. I know my alternator is new and the battery is 3 years old (Interstate) but got it checked out anyway and sure enough, the battery was bad. So I bought a new one and went for a 30 mile drive. Stop n go, highway, A/C on.... no problems. It runs terrific!
(Time to sell it )
