Default P1590 (ABS roug road signal malfunction) - Right Rear and Left Rear

I went wheeling for 3 days with the BC Roverlanders group. Got the P1590 (ABS roug road signal malfunction) code on the first day. The code came on after we went through a few deep mud holes.

The Nanocom was showing two fault codes:

- Rear Right outlet valve open circuit (intermittent 15 times)
- Rear Left sensor electrical failure (6 times)

I am getting these check lights on the dash:

- Brake
- Hill Descent Control
- ABS

I understand my situation is not the 3 amigos, ie., HDC, ABS, TC. I do not have a TC check light.

Since the Nanocom is saying it is both a rear right and left left issue..... I am wondering if there is some sort of module that is receiving signals from both rear right and rear left ABS sensors.

I will be washing off the mud and crud tomorrow. I searched the forums and cannot find anything similar to my problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be casuing the problem before I tear into this problem?

Thanks!

Update:

It appears to be an ABS sensor shim issue. I had recently switched to an aftermarket hub before I encountered the engine check code. The supplied ABS sensor was finicky.
