Default Panhard rod Conversion

Who's done it? I'm referring to taking out the watts linkage and having a panhard rod welded in instead? I'll be doing it this summer and wanted to hear unbiased opinions on it.

This is the kit I'll be using:
Panhard Kit - RuffStuff Specialties

May I ask why you want to do this, probably because of a lift. If that is the case, go to RTE and look at their solution to modify the watts set up.

It's really for the most articulation, about 3-3.5" of lift. The RTE setup is nice but watts bushings will still fail over time and I haven't seen a lot of negatives on the panhard setup. This truck is becoming less and less road used, and if I'm going to spend $300 doing something, I'd rather get the biggest benefit off road.

I have never done it but I don't see why it would not work.

You know Don Trudeau, right Justin? He did it with his truck and has had pretty good results so far.
