parking light problem ??

Default parking light problem ??

hi new problem with my discovery 2 year 1999 .
parking lights stopped working clock in dast stopped illuminating also rest of usual light stopped illuminating on dash any one help me i tryed removing the light stick switch with no success any one know how to remove it ?? ..
its a bit of a pain becaus i have no rear lights at rear at night only brake light when i brake

took out light switch and cleaned it still no light just hi and dips

fuses? fuse links (the bolt in fuses)? Check under hood and under dash.

no fuses blown arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its getting arrrrrrr now lol ..
will give it a blast in morning again

Its a fuse, trust me. had the same thing happen to me on christmas eve last year in front of SWMBO's family. Check the harness near the fuse box. there is a ground near there

ok after a locating 2 fuses blown every time i try switch on light it blows a fuse..
cant find the problem must b a broken wire or something i disconnected all light and still blowing it

its fuse number 33 that keeps blowing cant find the dam problem arrrrrrrrrrrr

Its between the fuse and the lights. Harness is touching a ground or shaved wire is rubbing the chassis. Its a short.

Yes that's what I think as well just can't find the dam thing whole day yesterday at it and still no better off arrr

ok spent the full day tracing wires striping fues boxes and still no ferther on so got fed up with it and just bypassed that fues and wiring just ran wire from left park light to right front and bk problem solved kinda
