I've been looking for a complete battery hold down with rods etc but can't seem to find one. Are these really that hard to come by?

New or Used they are still out there it just depends what you want to spend.

OR go with a Universal Kit.

You can get generic threaded rod at most hardware stores. Grab some washers and bolts and you are in business.

If you cant afford Steve Parkers Kits, i found another way to replace the drain tube at the sunroof pan. I used 3/8 PEX brass connectors, cut off one end so it does not hit the sunroof track, then used JB Weld Plastic weld to put them in place. Then i added more JB Weld around the whole plastic piece. Worked great!! i have finished one and total cost was $10 Bucks!! While I was at it I ;pulled the sunroof out and resealed the fram to the body with GE Silicone. That cost another $8.

Just get a universal kit at the autoparts store, comes with the rods.
