Passenger seat not always going front/back
Hi all,
Still working on the disco, now trying to get the passenger seat to go front and back persistent.
The seat moves all directions but not always to front or back;
- When operating the switch, there is always a 'click' from the motor
- Purchased a new motor, same issue when installed
- With motor removed and operating the front/back switch, motor always turns both ways (when removed from seat)
- removed motor and the 'shaft' that turns the other side of the seat and both sides turn front and back (when removed from seat)
- opened the cable sleeve going to the seat, all wires are in good condition
With the seat installed, the first time i move the seat front or back it works for a couple of seconds, then it stops and you only hear a 'click' from the motor.
When I loosen the 2 bolts that connect the shaft that spins to the seat frame, the seat sometimes goes back and forth.
I've searched a lot and think I've covered most things that are usually causing this problem.
I'm starting to think I need to align the shaft somehow, but cannot cannot find anything about this.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction
