Default Persistent 0300 code on my DII— could use some counsel

I bought my 1999 DII in the fall of 2018, and have a persistent issue with misfire codes (x3xx variants). Since September, I've done the following:
- New Duralast battery (M+S light issue)
- Plugs + wires
- Ignition coils
- Crank position sensor

No codes for a little over a month, but since then have been getting the SES light with a persistent 0300 code. Took it to my local guy, who cleared the code and told me it was likely that super cold Chicago temps were causing sensor issues. Today is a beautiful 40º day, and the code is back. I've put a good chunk of money into it with the above work, and its driving me nuts that I can't get the SES to stay off for over a month. Any ideas what might be the root cause? Poking around the forum it seems that O2 sensor and MAF are possible next steps ... any help is much appreciated.

My experience says O2 sensors would be a great investment. They fixed me.
