Default Please help!!! Disco 2 wont start!!!

Im working on a 01 Discovery 2 for a customer. I recieved the disco 2 weeks ago with the engine locked up. The customer purchased a used motor from a salvage yard on her own. So I swaped the motor for her and now It wont start. No codes, I have spark, I have fuel to the rail, and I'm reading rpm on my scanner but the injectors are not operating... every now and then we can get a cylinder to fire on starting fluid. Now the customer is growing impatient and I dont know if i triggered some kind of security feature or what. Been searching all week for info but I cant find anyone with the same problem. I hope someone here can help! Thanks!!!

Do you actually have measurable fuel pressure at the test port? Any chance the inertia switch got tripped? Have you checked for codes even without a CEL?

make sure the ground wire which is braided from the driver's side head to the firewall is actually there and attached.

How did you connect the injectors to the harness with the engine swap?
As some point, you either undid the harness from the old engine and left it there.

And, then you probably had to remove the intake manifold.
Injectors need a solid ground to work.

Check the wiring.
