I have a 2004 4.6 Discovery II 80000 MILES
..came out yesterday morning and it would not start, cranks but no start..temp around 25 degrees

..what I have checked so far !
1. 50 psi of fuel at the rail when cranking
2. probed #2 injector ( only on readly accessable ) and got a pulse when cranking
3. Have good spark. wires, plugs and one coil was replaced very recently so I know they
4. had error code in ecu 1668..cleared and has not reset
5. disconnected battery overnight and fullt charged, still cranks no start.
6. jumpered the 'roll over' switch to bypass.

Any help..suggestions..or input would be appricated !!!!

lock the truck, unlock the truck, turn the key to ignition II wait 30 seconds, if the LED stays lit than the BCU has put you truck into an immobilized state. there was a TSB on the BCU.

 

I looked at that TSB..States it is for a no crank no start concern.
