plug/wire/gasket package?
Yes 8mm
Mike, do you have to take off the intake to get to the wires? And I should replace the gasket at the same time if the intake is off, right? Or is there another way. I tried to get my hand back there but was unsuccessful.

I just replaced wires with a set of MSD helicore 8mm wires. The set is a build it yourself set that allows you to cut and crimp to the desired length. Just did it last Thursday and they made the truck run great with the Platinum 4 plugs. Cost for the wires was $65.00.

I bought the wires at a local speed shop in Daytona Beach called Action Performance Speed and Custom. The part number is 3108 Heli-Core wire set 8 Cyl Multi-Angle, socket cap. Give me a call if you have any questions Aaron (386) 689-7119
Thanks everyone.
The job is now done and the disco is running strong. I used the 8mm Magnecor wires, Bosch Platinum +4’s, and the Land Rover gasket. When we checked the codes it said I had a misfire on six different cylinders, so you can imagine how nice it is to have her on all 8 again. I have more respect for these trucks now than I had before. After seeing the condition of the original plugs and wires there is no way this disco should have even moved. But two cylinders were still kicking strong and they didn’t give up. My mpg was absolutely horrific but that was understandable. So as for right now she is back and running great.
Thanks a lot.
Ps. I decided to have my mechanic pop the intake on this because every time I take a shortcut it ends up coming back to haunt me. Plus for a pro to only charge $200 bucks for the job you really can’t go wrong.
