I'm seeing some mixed reviews on these E3 plugs. Majority of reviews I've seen says they are great and improve fuel economy. A few said no change in fuel economy but seemed to improve power. One guy with a BMW said it ran so bad after installing them that he barely got it to the mechanic. I have a feeling this guy mixed up his plug wires. I'd still like to find somebody that has ran them in a rover.

I dont know if you will find anybody who has ran them in their Rover.
After I install mine I will let you know, you will have to wait until spring though.

My 2001 Montero came with Denso Iridium plugs from the factory, At 70,000 miles I switched to the E3 plugs, better MPG, no noticable improvement in power.
I do not remember how much better MPG, it has been 3 years...

Just recently acquired 00 disco II with 104k and a stack of misfire codes. Swapped out wires and plugs with magnacores and plus 4s and also changed both coil packs while I had her all tore apart. Old plugs were pretty shot so my hopes were high for great improvement re; rough idle, poor performance, etc. To my dismay, am still getting misfire code for jug#8 and actually seems to run worse! Any thoughts on this?

Double check your wires, making sure that they are not crossed and are allseated correctly.

Thanks for the good advice. Already checked on both counts; plus, figured it would misfire on two cylinders if wires were crossed? What else could cause a misfire on a single cylinder?

Well guess what? Brand spanky Bosch plus 4 had a generous split down the ceramic cone. Too obvious! Thanks again.
