Default Popping from my intake!!

Hi all! I have this weird popping from my intake(air filter) its only if I accelerate quickly. I changed the plugs/wires cleaned out the throttle bodyreplaced air filter and still no luck can some one point me in the right direction 96' disco w/ 98,xxx on the engine please help not to familiar with this, just replaced the cv joints,fuel filter, fuel pump, belts, hoses, water pump. thanks in advance..

Check your timing, then if still there do a compression test to see if you have a bad valve.

thanks for the reply, I use premium it's only $1.63 in texas where I stay lucky me!!! But on the other hand DiscoMike where would the timing adjustment be.It has coils like my "Z" so I'm assumingthat it's DIS but where is the sensor to adjust the timing I've read alot of the post on here as a guest and alot of people turn to you for help so thanks again for the response as I will turn to you and others on the forum for help!

I was a year off, 95's and older had a distributor. Too bad, that leaves you with a possible valve issue. Check the compression, get back to us with the numbers.
If they are normal than it is off to plan "C", decarboning the engine.
By the way, My local Conaco stations sells there supreme for $159.
