Power steeering whine on 2003 disco HELLPP

Lucas power steering additive saved every RRC/D1 I ever owned. Power steering boxes all stopped seeping after using it. On D2’s I’ve had really good luck with the royal purple power steering fluid.

Oh sure...do it the easy way...lol.

But seriously, before anyone dumps anything else in the ps system...find out if it is "actually" the pump...first. Like mentioned, twice already, remove belt and spin all of the other components...to eliminate a possible issue with something else.

Quick repairs happen after doing thorough diagnostics.

Upate! turns out is wasn't the power steering at all. It was a cheap alternator the previous owner had replaced. So I've replaced it with a bosche alternator and all is great! Thanks for all the help guys
