RE: power steering box
mike, the universal joint going into the box turns, the input shaft turns also, but nothing else is happening. nothing is moving on the output side.i can turn my wheel all day long in both directions.i believe from a cutaway view in the parts manual, there is a pin on the input shaft and a pin on the output shaft.maybe i broke a pin? art

RE: power steering box
Sounds like you've broken the box internally. The output shaft has a flat on it where the drop arm is held on by the Nut. So-- there is no possibility of stripping it there. I have the steeringbox as a remanufactured unit for $375.00 plus shipping, and the $160.00 Core charge.
