So 3 Quarts should fill both reservoirs?

Thanks!
Why do you want to fill them, how many miles on the truck and when were both systems "FLUSHED"?
To do both systems you really need around 9 quarts, especially if you can't remember when it was last flushed.
So buy a good synthetic and a small turkey baster hand pump from the parts store and PM me your number, I'll walk you thru how to do the flush in 15 minutes on your drive way with no drips on the ground.

The GM power steering fluid recommended in this forum and others is Genuine GM Fluid 12345867 Cold Climate Power Steering Fluid. I have used this with success.

You will need to buy either online or at a GM dealership as the autoparts stores do not carry this speciality item.

2003 Discovery 160K and is my daily driver.
