Default Power Steering "Groan"

I have replaced my PS pump with a reman (from auto zone) due to a major leak. No leaks, but I now have a "groan" when I turn to the right, and only right. And it only happens when sitting still or barely rolling. I have sucked out old fluid from resivoir and added lucas additive about a month ago shortly after I changed ps pump. It it my everyday driver so I think the lucas has had time to "work". Any ideas?

Default It is the movement of an internal spacer in the front longitudinal chassis member

Hey Ismit605...I know exactly that groan...check this thread...you will need access to a welder or someone (as in my case) who knows how to weld...cheap fix actually for a LR: https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=25810

The pump was not completely rebuilt, you have a bad valve in it so go get it replaced under warranty.

Hmm...I've recently developed a "groan" or mild "fart" from my power steering that I thought was just from changing the PS fluid recently. But now that I think about it, it is only upon cold start up at very low speed and turing the wheel right I believe.

Mike, you don't think it is the TSB they are talking about? since it only makes the noise turning to the right, I figured the pump was fine ("auto zone fine") thanks
