Exclamation Power steering hoses

Does anyone know if you have to buy the exact power steering hoses or can it just be any old rubber hose that is on the market? I need to replace the hose that runs from the Resivior to the pump. it does not say it is high pressure on anything i have looked at and $54 seems a little steep for a rubber hose.

Any info would help. Thanks

I believe that is the return hose. What you can do is take the old one, then go to autozone and have them match the size and length of the hose. Hopefully they should also have some springs you can use to bend the hose into shape. That's what I did for mine and it works fine, it'll cost about 3 bucks. You'll probably need to get some clamps too. You'll need to make it really tight on the pump.
