Default Whats involvedin replacing the power steering hoses

01 Disco - already blown 2 power steering pumps - the hoses need to be replaced - whats involved, how much should it run me and how difficult will it be ?

Go to Atlantic British for the price of all 3 hoses. Are you planning to replace them, if so, go power scrub the hell out of you engine so you can actually see and fix replace the hoses. If you have already replaced the hoses, there is not much more to do when replacing the hoses. If a mechanic is doing the job, plan on 2 to 3 hours labor.

I will be doing it myself, 2-3 hrs wow !! I didnt see anything about replacing the actual hoses in the Rave manual - it did discuss the pump, any idea where I could look for the instructions ?

The 2 hoses attached to the PAS reservoir will be easy. #3 is the bitch, it runs under your radiator. You have to move your radiator to get to #3. Check for the instructions on removing the radiator, I think there is a single line on removing that last PAS hose.
