Power Steering leak

When mine started leaking about 6 months ago, I let it go for a bit till it got really bad. After cleaning it well, it was determined that my suction hose, which is the more common one to leak, had failed. After replacing it, the leak did slow down but after cleaning it again we found the case seal was also leaking, that is when I went to the White Shepherd. Been 2 months now and now more moisture.

Well, I ended up finding out that the leak was coming from the gasket of the power steering pump...AND it took me THREE tries to get my RTV silicone gasket to work!!! Finally got it to seal up and re-installed all the parts this morning. Drove it to work and it appears to still be holding the fluid. I hope it stays that way!

Thanks to all for your help...especially to Greenwade who explained how he did his repair! I did exactly what he did and it worked!
