go ahead and rip into it it is really simple there is a you tube vid but it had ace job is even easier with out it

I installed a power steering pump this winter, and it is really not tough at all. Get the tools to remove the viscous fan though. I tried without taking the fan out, and eventually just took it off.

The difficulty we had was that the pump did not fit that well into the bracket. Found a bolt that we put through the back of the bracket and into the pump to wedge it into position. Not sure if there was a trick we missed or if there is a better way to get it in there.

Thanks for the encouragement, team. Just ordered the viscous fan removal spanner. It was on my wish list for awhile.
