Default Preferred Source for Magnacor Wires?

I tried searching. What is the preferred source for Magnacor wires? My Disco had Magnacor when I bought it, but that was 50,000 miles ago. I'm changing the coil packs and thought I'd change the wires while I have the upper IM off. Thanks

Default magnacor

I bought mine here, cheapest that I could find at the time, I believe that I paid $85 at that time though.

I tried Magnaore, but went back to Kingsborne, I didn't see any difference with Magnacore to make them worth twice the price.

Well I bought the Magnacor wires and paid for expedited shipping so they are going on the truck. However, I just talked to a Rover mechanic, the kind of guy who does really big, frame on up restorations, and he said to avoid the Magnacors. He said the coil pack boots don't fit right, eventually split and allow moisture in which may have caused my coil failure. I'll work with what I've got on the bench before I install them, but that's what I've been told.

I second the above post on avoiding the Magnecor wires. I ran them on a previous vehicle I had (mitsubishi lancer evolution) and I was constantly experiencing misfiring issues-switched to plain old NGK wires, and never had an issue again. Never have run them on the Rover, however, so take that information as you will. Personally, I won't ever go back to Magnecor.

Anyone know a good link to buy the Kingsborne wires at? Are they 8mm as well? I don't really want to spend $80-120 on plug wires, especially if they are know to have rover problems. I've got enough of those already!!!
