Problems disconnecting battery for extended period?

Forgot to update this but everything turned out peachy.
Disco unmolested, new keys obtained and radio & alarms fully functional!
Only slight drawback is the new keys cut by the dealer require a little finessing to find all of the pins in the cylinder but that's a small price to pay.
