So the problem translates according to the codes as a 4th cylinder misfire, anyone have a thread that they could direct me to to fix it/advice?

you could start with the easy stuff replace the plugs and wires, do a search for Kingsborne Ignition Spark Plug Wires Sets made in the USA good wires really cheap pricing go with at least an 8mm wire.

Im having the same knarled sound when Im driving at higher speeds. But I have a vibration is going on as well. My hope is that I need new tires. Because it happens only at certain speeds. Does that sound plausable or is it a wheel hub or worse? I have a 04 Discovery 2.

Also I had a misfire code in my #2 cylinder. Along with super heating and water out the pipe. Had to replace Heads. Do you have any of the other issues?

First go to an auto zone or if you have an ob reader use that so you can pinpoint what is actually wrong. It could be a misfire in another cylinder which is causing that vibration or it could just be your tires. Due that and then see where you get, good luck.

Sounds like all the issues I've had in the past year
-overheating: replaced head gaskets and thermostat July 2012
-crack in the radiator: replace radiator August 2012
-vibrations in driving and steering pulling: new tires and alignment April 2013
-car wouldn't turn over: replaced battery (not the problem) replaced crank position sensor (the problem) May 2013
-vibrations in steering and braking: replaced warped rotors and brake pads in the front July 2013
-service engine light with cylinder 4 misfire: replaced wires July 2013
