How do you turn on the factory accessory lights? I assumed they didn’t work when I tried the fog light switch on the gauge cluster but I’m not actually sure what switch they would be wired to originally. Good info for getting that sorted.

 

The factory fog stuff is more than likely missing the relay under the hood, and the switches are a little different on the Kalahari vs a standard D2 in regards to the front Fog Light switch and rear Fog Light Switch. You should also have an Aux light switch for the Safari 5000's. Front Fogs weren't used by default on the Kalahari so you should have if I remember correctly a rear fog switch upper left, then the Aux Safari 5000 light switch below that. It has the light symbol with a 2.

To make the OEM fog circuit work you just need the normal switches from a standard D2 for the Front Fog and Rear Fog lights and the relay in the fuse block under the hood. The reason I say you need 2 switches is due to the style being top or middle style switch. You will probably find the Front fog plug sitting in one of the blank plates.

New config would be Top Left Front Fog, below that Rear Fog, then below that Aux 2 switch for Safari 5000, and then at the very bottom a blank. Stock would be Top Rear Fog, below that Aux 2, and then 2 blank plates below that. Sounds tricky but it's just moving them around to the normal config and using the normal style switches vs the switches with the Kalahari
