Default Project Completed - Finally

After procrastinating for a couple weeks with the parts sitting on my shelf, I finally got around to converting my front turn signals to marker lights/turn signals. Took all of about 15 minutes once I quit worrying about making the wiring pretty and just did it. The pics aren't the best but I think they're good enough to get the idea across.

Pics of how you did it? I have some spare markers I was going to practice with.

I will try to get some pics of the wiring. Ordered the socket and pigtail for a P38 Range Rover from AB. Turn signal was simple splicing pig tail to original wiring. For the marker I ran the third wire down to the marker in the bumper and tapped the power wire. Pretty simple actually.

Part numbers:
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/XBP100190.cfm - Dual filament socket
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/8959ABP.cfm - Pigtail/plug
Bulb is a standard 7528 available cheap at any auto part store.

All of that extra drain on your battery is going to kill it...no, just messing with ya, it looks good.
How much did it cost you?

I'll have to adjust the flow of electrons through the kanuter valve to the flux capacitor to compensate for the extra draw from the battery.

The parts cost me about $30 from AB. If I were to do it again now that I don't have to worry about a pesky job getting in the way I would go to the junk yard and get the parts. I ordered the parts when I was sitting in North Dakota bored out of my mind.

Boredom is a nasty bedfellow.
