Yes I was in MI in July 07 backpacking on Isle Royale is was nice mid 80's.

I hope the oil ? is taken care of with what to use.

 

I want to hike Isle Royal. Wanted to ever since I was in Boy Scouts.

I actually grew up in Alaska (hence the AK part of my screen name), got bored and moved to Phoenix for a summer before moving to Denver. I live in Denver, technically, but spend most of my time here at work in North Dakota. Add in that I spent almost a year in Mississippi for Air Force tech school and you can say I have seen nearly every extreme mother nature has.

 

I've been all over too, not enough though, I still need to travel more. ALOT more.

 

I realize that I am extremely bias but I have seen a lot of beautiful places and few hold candle to Alaska. I will always call that home and some day i will go back to live. I have a great trail back home that is only open for moose hunting season that I want to take the Discovery on. It throws a little bit of everything at you. Water crossings, slick hill climbs, some big rocks to play on and of course the possibility to come out with a freezer full of moose meat. That's some good eating.
