Default ProShaft Front Drive Shaft

Hey All,

Over the last couple of days I have been in contact with the ACTUAL owner of ProShaft llc. Just for clarity, LRsilver2001 is not the owner of the company nor is he a financial partner. He was only helping the owner sell the product and nothing more, he has no part in the actual day to day operations of the company. This I have been told by the owner.

I had some initial communication / customer service problems when I ordered a drive shaft but I have since learned that these problems stemmed from the incorrect information being given to me by LRsilver2001 and in talking with the owner of ProShaft, everything has been completely cleared up and he has restored my faith in dong business with him.

From what I read on a past thread from LRsilver2001, and from what I have since learned, I would have to say that he was presenting himself as someone other and his experience may not match that of what he told everyone. He also told me that they had a website which is also not the case - at least not for the time being.

This would explain why he had a hard time giving technical information about the drive shafts. This may also say something about his personal conflicts with others here.

I have nothing to do with ProShaft, other than having one of their drive shafts on the way to me, but I wanted to let others know that LRsilver2001 gave some false impressions of his involvement with the company and that after talking with the actual owner things are much clearer and the level of customer service did a complete 180 from where it started... things are good.

The owner made a comment to me that he may join the forum here so that he can sort things out and to let others know that if there are any other concerns or questions about his product and business, that he will provide a means of contact off of the forum.

Please don't start to throw out negative / attacking comments as this is not my intent for this thread. Just know that eveything I said is from my own personal dealings between LRsilver2001 and the Owner of the company.

The final outcome at the moment is of a very positive one for me.

That would explain a LOT. This whole deal with Silver's driveshafts seemed shady from the get go.
If I were the owner of ProShaft I'd fire Silver(Drew) and jump on here to try to do some damage control.

fishEH...
I assume that you purchased one of his shafts and had a negative experience with it?
Everyone else that purchased one has nothing but good things to say. What were the issues with the Propshaft LLC driveshaft you had?
I for one, am very pleased with the one shipped to me. My indy mechanic here in Denver was impressed.

I have yet to see FishEh post anything worth any credence about the drive shafts themselves, seems more of a personal conflict with Drew that he takes every opportunity to bring up.

If you read GURU06's post you would see that Drew didn't actually have any shafts. They weren't HIS.
No, I have no experience with ProShaft and have no problem with that company.
If all you guys took out of GURU's post was that I don't like SILVER then I feel sorry for you. Some people are worth trusting and others aren't. You either have that intuition or you don't.
Is your guys ProShaft a decent product? I'm sure it is. However, it isn't the product you were lead to believe it was. Drew was passing these off as HIS when in fact that was wrong.
How you could think I was saying anything bad about ProShaft from my above post is beyond me. You guys never cease to amaze me. Talk about going down with a sinking ship! How much more has to come to light before you abandon the SS SILVER?

Did you read the post from Guru06? The problem wasn't the driveshaft, but the shady character selling them. Guru had a issue, and comes to find out that it's because the guy selling the product didn't know the product, have any experience building them or the technical background to be selling them. He basically lied about his involvement with the company. So keep defending the liar. The owner of Proshaft has had his company's reputation stained by this guy.
Here's the reality, you guy's bought a driveshaft that costs about $195.00 to build, which can be built by any local driveline shop with the same common stock parts. The point being is a Tom Woods, which can be bought for about $50 bucks more than the Proshaft, is manufactured with parts custom designed to make the shaft stronger and easier to maintain.
Yeah, great deal ya got there...

"My(sic) propshaft is made from DOM so it's the best"

That said it all.

I have dealt personally with Justin and Drew, they're both super nice people who are happy to help out when they can. The shaft is still doing great after driving around in the woods all yesterday, it's still a very nice product any way you look at it.

Misrepresenting who you are is a very serious offense. I have refrained from commenting on any of the threads in reference to this guy. I've just watched and paid attention. It's not about the shaft, it's about the honor of the person claiming something false.

And whether you want to buy a product from a guy like that, regardless of who actually made it. I'm not saying don't buy a ProShaft, I'm saying I wouldn't buy it through SILVER.
