Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
You're really making yourself look silly. Sillier. I'm not aware of any aftermarket propshaft made for a DII that is "intended purely for off-road use."

As for deciding you'll never buy a TW propshaft because Mongo has one, you better sell your Land Rover. I'm pretty sure Mongo has at least one of those too.
That's was one of the silliest comments I've seen on a forum in a long time.

I bought my case of filters from Baldwin. $3.50 each. But I left them red.

If you're not going to religiously grease them every oil change sealed is better.
Anti,

Surprisingly, I've seen Spicer sealed u-joints actually outlast GM engines in a few cases. Sometimes people needing a drive shaft modified would bring some old rusty, pitted drive shaft into the shop with a perfectly runnable, original, sealed Spicer u-joint(s) still installed.

Post a how to, with pix if possible, or drawing. Once it survives the peer review process it would be a good candidate for a sticky (special reference post area).

As for "oil filters in another box" - that would private label. If you trust a product enough to sell it, that is one thing. If you trust it enough to add your name to it that is a higher level of trust. Be sure the product is worthy of the trust.

Savannah,

Thanks man! I'm a horrible artist so I'll see if anyone around town is willing to let me use their DII for the photo op. As a lot of you already know, it's a straightforward process; but in my experience a lot of people are just wary of making a mistake. The cool thing about the process is that it's applicable (with some slight differences) to most passenger vehicles and semi trucks.

ZG Photo - Young man.... you will find as you age (at the same rate as the rest of us, one day at a time) that later in life things with caffenine have more impact on your system than they did in your youth. So one thing that can help with getting enough sleep and anger management is reducing your caffenine intake, which can impact your "startle response". One part of the brain dumps too many chemicals on the other part, and pretty soon that wrench and vile never heard before combinations of curses and vehicle parts are flying out from under the shade tree, disturbing the partz vulturez on the higher branches, and perhaps reaching the ever vigilant ears of SWMBO. Always select a shade tree based on distance from the house.

Oh, yeah, I know. The difference in the DII is the proximity of the cat to the DC and AC drain dripping on it.

But if it's lubed correctly greaseable will, in most cases, outlast sealed. The problem is that so few people actually know how to do it correctly plus the people who don't do it on the correct schedule. If you're not going to do those two things, sealed is definitely better. You'll just have to rebuild at least the DC on a more aggressive schedule.
