He was only helping the owner sell the product and nothing more, he has no part in the actual day to day operations of the company. This I have been told by the owner.

I had some initial communication / customer service problems when I ordered a drive shaft but I have since learned that these problems stemmed from the incorrect information being given to me by LRsilver2001 and in talking with the owner of ProShaft, everything has been completely cleared up and he has restored my faith in dong business with him.

From what I read on a past thread from LRsilver2001, and from what I have since learned, I would have to say that he was presenting himself as someone other and his experience may not match that of what he told everyone. He also told me that they had a website which is also not the case - at least not for the time being.

This would explain why he had a hard time giving technical information about the drive shafts. This may also say something about his personal conflicts with others here.

I have nothing to do with ProShaft, other than having one of their drive shafts on the way to me, but I wanted to let others know that LRsilver2001 gave some false impressions of his involvement with the company and that after talking with the actual owner things are much clearer and the level of customer service did a complete 180 from where it started... things are good.

The owner made a comment to me that he may join the forum here so that he can sort things out and to let others know that if there are any other concerns or questions about his product and business, that he will provide a means of contact off of the forum.

Please don't start to throw out negative / attacking comments as this is not my intent for this thread. Just know that eveything I said is from my own personal dealings between LRsilver2001 and the Owner of the company.

The final outcome at the moment is of a very positive one for me.

Thanks for the info and shedding some light on the real issues.

Really, personal "digs" at each other?

Say all you want about LRsilver for the image he portrayed about himself here (nice guy or not), but why go and point the finger about each other outside of what I originally posted?

We are all going to have differences in opinions for products, the way it's built etc., it's the world we live in... Coke, Pepsi, one is better than the other, one is not. If it's a crap product then we say so and watch out for each other, likewise with customer service / representation of which I was stating my experience and what I have found to be the real facts of someone. So far I have not read anything drastic about ProShafts product other than the bolts which has since been corrected. Keep that in mind

A friendly banter back and forth is one thing but when it starts to get hostile, just let it go... sheesh!!!!!! Sure some people never have anything good to say, but don't keep fueling their fire.

I have an agreement with the ProShaft owner. When the drive shaft is delivered to me, I am taking it to a long time drive line company here in my city to inspect the workmanship and quality of the product. If they give it the thumbs down I send it back at his expense and if they give it the thumbs up I install it in my Disco.

Let the personal insults / comments slide if they don't have anything to do with the thread.

I just reread this thread and am not really seeing any personal digs, other than about LRsilver, who deserves all the digs about his misrepresentations and lack of knowledge about something he was selling.
I genuinely feel bad for ProShaft.
If I were the owner of a business and had an employee like sliver I'd be extremely pissed. He'd be shown the door and if I felt my business had been damaged by his antics I'd be contacting my attorney to look in to legal remedy.
This all reminds me of the situation that happened with DAP.

Antichrist -

The owner was very grateful for the light that was shed in regards to LRsilver and how it has opened his eyes - his words.

I am sure he will be making the neccessary changes when it comes to who is representing / selling his product.

That's good to hear.

These days, with the prevalence of forums, and people who can't control themselves publicly, small businesses probably need to require liable agreements signed by employees. It's way too easy for someone to unintentionally trash a company's reputation.

Can you say Facebook?

Happens all the time, employee's complain or post things about work that they shouldn't and the company never even knows.
I am not friends with fellow employee's or my boss on Facebook.

Hello everybody!

I'm Justin, the owner of ProShaft, LLC. I'm brand new to this forum and forums in general. I'm definitely not here to bash anyone or engage in any type of character assassination. However, if any of you guys have any questions regarding my products, be they technical or otherwise, I'm here to answer!
I won't have a lot of time to reply to actual posts in the course of the day but my personal e-mail address and phone number are in my signature. My e-mail is linked to my phone so I'll get the alert when you send it. While I'm here, I would like to personally thank each and every one of you who have bought my products. I started building drive shafts (both semi truck and light duty) in 2008 and have since built and sold hundreds of units. I'll do my best to keep up with this thread but if you have a question for me within the thread and I'm not able to answer in due time, please send an e-mail, call, or text me so that I may be able to help you directly. Again, I want to thank each and every one of you who have bought my products and I hope to be able to serve your drive shaft needs in the future.

I just got off the phone with Justin and advised him to prepare a in length description of the Driveshaft product including part numbers, detailed specs, testing info, warranty and website information. He did explain everything to me, but I will refram from explaining it as it would be best spoken directly from Justin. He's going to take afew days and gather all the info before posting so be patient and prepare your questions formally without any further insults or bashing. I just want to see a positive resolve of this conflict. I still have no problem with Drew but I'm not going to participate in anymore bashing debates. Lets let the facts and specs speak for themselves. My shaft will arrive in afew days so I will keep everyone posted on my thoughts of the product.

Regards all.

Justin, nice to have you on here.
What other Land Rover models can ProShaft provide driveshafts for?
Also, your signature states "or ANY light duty drive shaft for that matter". Can you ellaborate on what you mean by "light duty"? Many individuals here offroad their truck and would be looking for a Heavy Duty upgrade over a stock shaft. However, I can see how that application could still be seen as Light Duty when compared to a 10 yard dump truck.
Thanks!
