ProShaft Front Drive Shaft
lol YES!!!! I thought it was either broken or suppose to look like that. But I just tried removing the cap and sure enough its a recessed grease fitting and looks as it should. Thanks for the $0.02 there haha
MC04DII,
PM Sent. Sorry for the issue with the mounting hardware.
Justin
I have just received my prop in them mail.
Next week I will see if I can get a second opinion on the build / qality from a local drive line company and will post the comments I received.

Just installed Justin's aftermarket front propshaft on my Disco. Drove down the road a ways and went through all the gears and so far everything seems good, but I have not tested it out on the highway yet. Ill keep everyone posted. I think it will handle the road just fine though. The only thing that concerns me is the location of the grease fitting on the barrel itself because it's positioned to close to the converter. I did take some side by side pics of the genuine stock shaft and Justin's: Note that the shaft on the left in all the pics is the stock shaft.

question for ya, Can you take a pic of it on the truck...curious about something and don't want to start another BS session
Pull the zerk fitting off the yolk so it doesn't whack the cat...you can get a hex cap at a any hardware store

I can see what you're thinking there, I certainly expressed my concern with Justin about that. I haven't put a blanking plug in after a few thousand miles on the road and almost 100 off, but I know what you mean.
I put flush fittings on them, but as long as there's 1/8-1/4" clearance there shouldn't be any issue with a regular zerk. If the propshaft moves side to side you have bigger issues and the cat isn't going to move much.
