Mine touches when on the lift. I was thinking of making spacers for it when I remove it to fix my exhaust leak.

I thought it was a flush mount grease fitting? It does not look the the rest of the grease fittings on the other points of the propshaft. Its flat like with a hexagon shape. It will not touch the cat but being so close the heat from the cat is what bothered me.

Ahh, well mine is different. Possibly Justin adjusted his recipe!

If Justin does not make these units, but sources them from a shop in Chicago, as previously stated by Justin; perhaps his feedback to the producer has had an impact.

Well he has always been able to make adjustments for RN. He may not build them but he almost entirely has control over the design he buys.

**Quality Update**

I had Proshaft's / Justin's drive shaft in for a second opinion on the build quality / parts of the drive shaft and a local drive line shop had nothing but good opinions towards it and were actually surprised at the what I paid for it.

A second opnion from a mechanic who has 30 years of building engines, and racing cars was much of the same. He couldn't believe the price I paid and gave it a thumbs up for the splicer u-joints that have been used on it. This guy also has used Tom Woods shafts in the past and said that this shaft would be on equal grounds for quality - he didn't say it would be better nor did he say it would be worse just to be clear.

Both didn't have anything negative to say about the driveshaft. I will now install it knowing that it is not some incorrectly built, cheap shaft that's going to blow up on me!

Cheers!

If you google Proshaft llc his ebay store comes up as before, but there are now no items listed where previously a very nice picture of a DII front popshaft came up. I checked the other day to confirm the price when I was putting a list together of some front propshaft options and prices for a post.

Just wondering if anything has changed.
