Default Putting back together

I am going to start putting the intake pieces back on the motor. I have a new intake gasket that is rubber coated. Should I use sealant on the entire gasket or just at the water inlet/outlet ports. Seems like the last time this was done someone did the entire gasket. Info greatlt appreciated.

Specifically which gasket are you talking about, the valley pan gasket or the intake gasket between the two manifolds?

Valley pan gasket????
You only put RTV gasket on 4 corners around the heads. You will see little notches in 4 corners. Let me know if you need pictures. I got some from a few months ago when I did mine.

valley pan gasket Mike, but Boris answered the question. The intake between the two manifolds uses NO sealant

RTV sealant goes in these 4 corners.
Don't forget to put locktite (blue) on air intake bolts because they tend to vibrate loose and then you are going to have major problems (oil leak, coolant leak, rough running, etc...)

Today was the day of recconing. Got the Rover back together plus a few extra bolts?? Hooked up the battery turned it over and started right up after the fuel pressure took effect. Sounds smooth/quiet and idled nice and even. Made me feel good. Took my time and did it right.
