My Discovery 2 TD5 is fitted with a P15 engine, but camshaft and rocker shaft are from a P10 engine, does this gives big difference on engine torque or any work than P15 camshaft and rocker shaft?
Thanks and regards

I know there is a difference between P15 and P10 engines but I'm not sure, will it make any difference if P15 engine will be equipped with camshaft and rocker shaft from P10 engine, I just trying to find out why my D2 td5 have such lazy start and can't climb up on steep slopes without Low gear.
On higher speed and with turbo it's ok, drives well but a start is horrible.
I replaced MAF sensor, cleaned all rest of sensors, blanked EGR, planning to replace Waste Gate Actuator for Turbo and Fuel Injector Wiring Harness Engine Loom I don't know what else to do please advise anyone
The later 2003/4 autos (facelift) had a power output upgrade, what that actually involved I do not know. As far as I know the earlier P10 engine had twin galleries within the cylinder head whereas the later P15 only has one with an external pipe which surplanted the internal gallery. Mine is a 2003 and uses a P19 engine which I believe was the last of the TD5 engines in a D2. The only sure way to check whether you can use a P10 camshaft and rockers on a P15 engine is to consult with either Aulro, the Aussie website forum, or ask the question of Atlantic British who are very knowledgeable and can check this out for you.
yes it's correct it has modified engine head also a difference between p10 and p15 engines are:
Different injectors early ones worked at 1500bars, later ones were 1700
Stronger heads and timing chains to take the additional stress.
Different EGR setup
Different FPR setup
Flashable ECU.
Better fuel map.
thanks for the advice <OffroadFrance>
